Associate Professor Dr Muxlisa Raximova, lecturer in the Department of Mining Measurement at the Department of Mining Engineering, Tashkent State Technical University, Uzbekistan, Ashurova Bakhora Muminovna, Project Manager at the Information Technologies and Information Resources Development Centre LLC IT company, Dilshod Saitov, PhD candidate in the Department of Mining Engineering under the Turkey Scholarships programme, and Prof. Dr. Ahmet Özarslan, faculty member of the Department of Mining Engineering, visited our Department.

During the meeting held at the Space Technologies and Spatial Analysis Laboratory, Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Topan, Dr. Hüseyin Kemaldere, Dr. Kurtuluş Sedar Görmüş, and Lecturer Murat Oruç provided information about the studies conducted with SAR data, particularly relevant to our guests' research areas. Discussions were held regarding opportunities for interdepartmental collaboration, joint research projects, and student and faculty exchange programmes.
