Our graduate students Mert Alpat and Meriç Bektaş participated in the International Student Symposium (IF IM CAD) held in Bucharest (Romania) on April 19-20 with the papers "Department of Geomatics Engineering,: History, Infrastructure and Research Areas, An Overview" presented by Mert Alpat and "Fired Area Detection Using Remote Sensing: Sample Application for Marmaris (Muğla, Turkey)" presented by Meriç Bektaş.

Meriç Bektaş received the third prize with his paper. We congratulate him and wish him continued success.
